The competition is on!

These potent, lunch box delights deserve a better name than the one they’ve been dealt. ┬áSo there’s a free batch of them on their way to whoever comes up with the best name for them… (see Comments section below)

  • 2 x cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup sprouted Buckwheat (optional or substite for millet or seed mix – get creative!)
  • 1 cup fresh Coconut
  • 1 cup chopped Dates
  • 4 Ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup Sultanas
  • I small Vanilla pod
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Ground linseed for binding (Optional – subject to ripeness and size of bananas)

The recipe and method are versatile so can be formed into bites, biscuits, flapjacks or molded into muffin cases before being dehydrated. They last for ages in the fridge and provide a healthy source of energy.
